Job Summary

Duties
- Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team.
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling procedures to ensure smooth functioning.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, utilizing effective marketing and promotional techniques.
- Manage purchasing, pricing, and inventory control to optimize stock levels and reduce shrinkage.
- Ensure outstanding customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, and maintaining a welcoming store environment.
- Handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and shift scheduling to maintain operational efficiency.
- Implement safety protocols and maintain compliance with company policies and health regulations.
Skills
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience in supervising teams within a retail or grocery environment.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases.
- Proficiency in POS systems, retail math, cashiering, and inventory management software.
- Expertise in negotiation, purchasing, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability.

- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail in stock control, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks.
