Regional Vice President
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer
FLSA Status: Exempt
SUMMARY: The Regional Vice President is responsible for driving strategic, financial, and operational performance across multiple markets within the assigned region. This role ensures sustained growth, operational excellence, and consistent execution of company objectives. The RVP develops high-performing leadership teams, optimizes organizational effectiveness, ensures compliance with regulatory standards, and protects company assets. Expectations include influencing companywide strategies, managing regional profit and loss, and serving as the executive representative for regional initiatives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership:
· Develop and execute regional business strategies aligned with corporate goals.
· Provide executive leadership, direction, and performance guidance to Market Presidents/General Managers and operational leaders.
· Lead regional expansion, revenue initiatives, and business transformation efforts.
Operational Excellence:
· Ensure execution of company policies, safety standards, and quality benchmarks across all sites.
· Drive cross-market operational consistency using KPIs, best practices, and continuous improvement programs.
· Oversee risk management, business continuity planning, and long-term operational scalability.
Financial Management:
· Direct full regional P&L responsibility: revenue, cost control, forecasting, and profitability targets.
Talent & Leadership Development:
· Recruit, mentor, and evaluate Market Presidents/General Managers and high-potential leaders.
· Lead succession planning and retention strategies to strengthen bench capability.
· Promote a performance driven culture with accountability at every operational level.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:
· Serve as executive-level escalation point for key client relationships and major service contracts.
· Build partnerships with community, regulatory bodies, and strategic external stakeholders to support business objectives.
Compliance and Risk Management:
· Ensure regulatory alignment and adherence to corporate business ethics standards.
· Forecast regional risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
Cross-Functional Influence:
· Partner with corporate departments (Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, Interior Design, etc.) to align regional initiatives with organizational priorities.
· Serve on strategic leadership committees, influencing enterprise-level decisions impacting field operations.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

·Education and/or Experience - High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate); bachelor’s degree required and 8-10 years progressive senior leadership experience in operations or multi-location management within the moving or logistics industry preferred. Working knowledge of safety and compliance regulations for the moving or logistics industry. Demonstrated success with complex P&L leadership, regional strategy development, and cross-functional collaboration. Proven ability to lead executive-level teams, develop leaders, and manage change.
·Language Skills – Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, management, and staff. Ability to effectively present information to management, staff, and customers. Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with supervisor, customers, and staff, etc.
·Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. This role requires an above-average knowledge of Microsoft Office.
·Other Qualifications - Valid driver’s license is required; Ability to operate in high-pressure environments; Commitment to safety, sustainability, and company values. Must be able to travel 50-70% of the time; Overnight stays may be necessary.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; frequently required to climb or balance, talk or hear; and occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. They must be able to walk forward, backward, side to side, and/or up and down stairs while carrying furniture. Specific vision abilities required for the duties of this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. They will frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds on a regular basis and operate moving equipment. They must be able to exchange accurate information with other individuals in the office and out in the field. Must be able to detect mechanical issues and part defects from short distances to determine what action needs to be taken. The individual must be capable of transporting different parts and tools required to do the job.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
