Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to standardized recipes and dietary requirements.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Collaborate with bartenders and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation while adhering to safety protocols.
- Participate in training sessions on new cooking techniques, equipment use, and safety practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Pizza experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and dietary requirements is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team are required.
