This individual is accountable for monitoring stop loss claim submissions, from investigation through resolution, to ensure they are managed effectively and to engage appropriate initiatives to provide solutions of cost containment and patient advocacy
Position Responsibilities:
- Analyze claims and ensure all pertinent information is organized and prepared, to assist with efficient processing.
- Work with team members to discover innovative ways to leverage internal and external resources (i.e. medical, rx, investigative, and legal) to develop new solutions and improve workflow.
- Responsible for managing own sub-section of client accounts.
- Stay up to date on industry claim practices
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, ability to prioritize and managed multiple tasks to excel in progressive office environment with minimal oversight.
- Desire to learn and work in fast-paced, ever-changing industry and comfortable with new technology.
- Eagerness to offer fresh perspective and critical eye to current processes.
- Knowledge of Stop Loss Claims and Stop Loss industry preferred
