As an Operations Specialist at DestiNATION Transport, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing freight operations, ensuring timely and efficient transportation services for our clients. Your role involves working closely with carriers, managing shipment details, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. You will play a crucial role in managing deliveries, maintaining relationships with carriers, and resolving any operational issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrier Selection & Relationship Management:
- Carrier Identification: Identify and select qualified carriers for freight services based on client requirements.
- Carrier Relationship Management: Maintain productive and professional relationships with carriers to ensure consistent and reliable service.
- Carrier Vetting: Ensure carriers meet all necessary compliance, safety, and insurance standards before onboarding.
Shipment Coordination & Management:
- Delivery Oversight: Manage and coordinate multiple shipments, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.
- Shipment Tracking: Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to customers to ensure transparency and resolve any issues.
- Documentation: Ensure all necessary shipment paperwork and contracts are accurate and completed before transport.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any operational issues, such as delays or shipment discrepancies, with carriers.
Client Support & Operations:
- Customer Communication: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries about shipment status and delivery timelines.
- Operational Excellence: Collaborate with internal teams and carriers to ensure the smooth execution of shipments while maintaining high service levels.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, freight coordination, or operations management.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in using logistics management software and systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Pay:
- Salary is $50,000.00/year with 5% monthly commission based on booked profit.
