Quality Control Technician (QC Tech)
We are a global manufacturer of animal probiotics, supplying products to major feed mills worldwide. We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive QC Tech to join our team.
In this role, you will help ensure that all products meet rigorous quality and safety standards through accurate inspection, testing, measurement, and documentation. Another key responsibility will be the aseptic preparation of microbial starter cultures for the manufacturing team each morning, supporting daily production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Primarily working in laboratory setting performing measurements, recording data accurately, and maintaining quality documents.
- Conduct QC testing/inspection in accordance with SOPs, monitoring of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Prepare microbial starter cultures for daily manufacturing operations, while maintaining aseptic condition.
- Root cause analysis of quality issues and corrective actions when needed.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain high manufacturing standards.
- Internal auditor/auditee based on ISO9001 and ISO17025.
Qualifications
- Background in microbiology, biology, food science, animal science, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and ability to consistently work early-morning schedules.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain organized records.
- Experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, or quality control environment is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

- 6:30am - 3:30pm (incl. 1 hr lunch break)
Reliably work every day unless PTO is requested in advance
May work overtime (until 5pm at the latest)
May work on Saturday morning in high production season (but rare)

- Industrial laboratory: 1 year (Preferred)
