The Blue Note Grill is a full service BBQ and Ribs Restaurant and Music Venue. We have music every night, Tuesday-Sunday. We are located in downtown Durham across from the Historic Durham Athletic Park.
We are looking for a Host/ Runner to join our team. This is an hourly position plus tips. Flexible schedule, nights and weekends required. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for hospitality and customer service, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize them accordingly. The Host/Runner will be responsible for:
Greeting and seating guests, answering phone calls, handling To Go orders, assist with running food, music event ticket sales. Providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure guests are sat and served in a timely manner
- Answer phone inquiries
- Follow up on all catering calls
- Selling tickets to music events
- Taking tickets on show nights
- Running food to the guests
- Giving support to servers
- Cleaning and maintaining host area/Zone
- Additional duties as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
