Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to create a welcoming shopping environment
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Assist customers with product demos, answering questions about features and benefits to encourage sales
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Restock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain attractive displays through effective merchandising techniques
- Conduct stock checks, inventory counts, and assist with stocking to ensure product availability
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support in supervising team members when needed, providing guidance on sales techniques and store procedures
Requirements
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, discounts, and inventory management
- Strong communication skills and bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customers effectively.
- Knowledge of merchandising standards, stocking procedures, and inventory control practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers confidently.
