Studio S Dance Co. is searching for a Basic & Beginner Dance instructor to lead classes on Mondays from 5:15-7:00pm. You will be responsible for teaching tap and ballet technique (as well as recital routines) throughout the year. Come join our studio staff and help us build confidence in our students through dance!
Responsibilities
- Act as lead instructor for Baby Ballet and Tap (ages 3-4) and Beginner Ballet & Tap (ages 5-6) on Mondays from 5:15-7:00pm.
- Develop and implement an engaging class structure.
- Teach ballet and tap technique; choreograph dance routines for annual recital.
- Collaborate with other teachers to enhance lessons and share best practices.
- Be available to open the studio for the evening, greet parents and students, and run classes with the help of 1-2 demonstrators.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in various settings.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Minimal dance experience is required.
- A love for teaching and/or dance!
- Experience in teaching with a focus on early childhood education or special education preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
