Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced line cook preferably with a culinary degree but note this IS NOT REQUIRED. You will be trained to work a variety of stations including grill, bake, sauté, fry, and desserts & salads. The York Harbor Inn is a fun, inclusive and all-around amazing place to work, we want our employees to grow and succeed with us on a daily basis.
Overall Functions:
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
