Flexible Schedule | Part-Time (28+ hours/week) with Full-Time Opportunity
Village Drug Shop is seeking a compassionate, motivated pharmacist to join our growing team. This position offers a flexible schedule with an average of at least 28 hours per week, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role. Weekend rotation is flexible and may be every other weekend or every fourth weekend, depending on staffing needs and candidate availability.
This is a unique opportunity to practice at multiple independent pharmacy locations, primarily:
- Village Drug Shop at Advantage – an integrated pharmacy located within a community behavioral health center serving outpatient mental health patients and a Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU).
- Village Drug Shop – a community-focused independent pharmacy providing personalized patient care.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient-centered pharmacy services.
- Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Counsel patients on medication therapy and adherence.
- Manage medication-related problems and optimize therapeutic outcomes.
- Support pharmacy operations, workflow, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in weekend rotation as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Georgia Pharmacist license (or eligibility for licensure).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:
- Independent community pharmacy
- Psychiatric pharmacy
- Behavioral health
- Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU)
- Medication therapy management and collaborative care
- Proficiency with PioneerRx dispensing software
