Position Overview:
As an Automotive Estimator at Highlands Ranch Collision Center, you will play a critical role in working closely with our experienced technicians to create accurate, detailed blueprints (estimates) for vehicle repairs. This position is primarily "back of house," focusing on the technical side of damage assessment and repair planning. Your expertise in estimating software, combined with your eye for detail, will help us ensure that repairs are performed efficiently and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with technicians to assess vehicle damage and generate accurate repair estimates.
- Create detailed repair plans that align with the work required and parts needed.
- Maintain organization and accuracy in estimating repair costs, timelines, and parts requirements.
- Review and update estimates as needed throughout the repair process.
- Communicate with management to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of repairs.
- Maintain high standards for accuracy and precision in every estimate.
Qualifications:
- Required: Proficiency in using the CCC Estimating System.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Experience in the automotive industry (preferably in estimating or auto body repair).
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with technicians and other team members.
Preferred Skills (not required but beneficial):
- Experience with other estimating software.
- Knowledge of auto body repair processes and terminology.
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic, high-volume setting.
- Strong communication skills to work with both internal and external customers.
