Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freelance Product Development & Production Coordinator to support daily operations, product organization, and client servicing. This role is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in the fashion production lifecycle, with exposure to trims development, logistics, and client-facing work.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the team in daily tasks including but not limited to
- Track the trim development lifecycle from development to completion
- Closely follow and communicate with clients and global vendors
- Communicate with intercompany global teams via email to support production and logistics
- Organize buttons, trims, and packaging samples
- Curate trim selections (physical and digital) based on client needs and brand aesthetics
- Perform product data entry, filing, and archive organization
- Assist with invoicing, shipment coordination, and preparing light shipments (including local drop-offs in Midtown)
Skills & Requirements
- Must be available 4 days per week, 10 AM – 5 PM, for a minimum of 6 months (With potential extension based on mutual agreement)
- This is an in-person role in New York City (no hybrid/remote)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States

- Contract Type: Freelance
- Compensation: $17.00 per hour
Core Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Clear and professional communication skills
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Mac applications
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop preferred
Preferred Background:
- Interest or experience in fashion merchandising, production, or product development
- Strong visual sensibility and understanding of brand aesthetics is a plus
Pay: $17.00 per hour
