Role Description:
The Commercial Insurance Rater will play a critical role in our underwriting process by analyzing submissions, applying rating methodologies, and delivering accurate premium calculations to the underwriter. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in commercial insurance rating and a strong understanding of policy coverage details.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze incoming commercial insurance submissions.
- Calculate accurate premiums based on coverage types, limits, and underwriting guidelines.
- Collaborate with underwriters to clarify submission details and ensure alignment with coverage requests.
- Input and maintain accurate rating data in systems, such as NetRate or Guidewire PolicyCenter .
- Provide rated premiums and relevant documentation to underwriters promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements throughout the rating process.
Communicate effectively with underwriters and team members to support smooth workflow operations.

- Experience: Insurance experience is a plus.
