We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Office Manager to lead the administrative operations of our Wound Care Clinic. Responsibilities
- Manage daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Supervise clinical and administrative staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Oversee fiscal management activities such as budgeting, medical billing, financial reporting, and resource allocation using EMR systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA, JCAHO standards, health regulation policies, and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate medical records and electronic health records (EHR) management using systems such as eClinical works, Cerner, Wound Expert.
- Coordinate human resources functions including staffing, onboarding, training on medical terminology and medical administrative support procedures
- Monitor clinic performance metrics related to utilization management, managed care, and quality assurance to support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice management within a clinical setting
- Strong supervisory skills with experience managing healthcare teams and staff in a busy environment
- Extensive knowledge of medical billing, budgeting, compliance standards (HIPAA), and healthcare regulations
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such aseClinical works, Cerner, Wound Expert.; familiarity with patient management software is essential
- Excellent managerial communication skills coupled with superior customer service abilities
- Background in nursing or acute care experience is highly desirable; dental office or veterinary experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to handle fiscal responsibilities including financial management experience and budgeting skills
- Knowledge of health regulation policies and medical terminology necessary for effective practice oversight
