About This Role
We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support our attorneys by managing discovery, calendaring, service of legal documents, client communications, and legal research throughout all phases of personal injury litigation.
This is a full-time, on-site position based out of our Woodland Hills, CA office, ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced litigation environment.
Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of discovery, including propounding and responding to interrogatories, requests for production of documents, requests for admission, and other discovery tools.

Maintain and manage the litigation calendar, track deadlines, schedule hearings, depositions, and other court dates, and ensure timely compliance with all court requirements.

Prepare, serve, and file legal pleadings, motions, notices, subpoenas, deposition notices, and other litigation documents.

Handle client communications, including providing case updates, answering procedural questions, gathering information, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Conduct legal research on statutes, case law, and regulations using Westlaw and LexisNexis to support case strategy and motion practice.

Organize and maintain case files, and coordinate with opposing counsel, experts, medical providers, and third parties as needed.

Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.

Review, summarize, and organize medical records and other evidence relevant to personal injury cases.

Perform general administrative tasks such as processing time entries, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a paralegal in personal injury is required.

Strong working knowledge of California personal injury law, court procedures, discovery rules, and legal terminology.

Proficiency with legal case management software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel), and electronic filing systems (e.g., e-filing with California courts).

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload, track multiple deadlines, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client updates and professional interactions with attorneys, opposing counsel, and courts.

High attention to detail, particularly when handling discovery responses, calendaring, and document preparation.

Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and proactively support attorneys with discovery and litigation matters.

Professional demeanor and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and strong ethical judgment.
