Job Summary
Operate a variety of equipment that includes backhoe, excavator and front end loader. Job sites consist of different locations and require flexibility to work out of town.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment in compliance with company safety policies
- Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected
- Operate the equipment manually and also through the use of electronic or technical method of operation
- Ensure and manage the machines or equipment in safe and secure way
- Perform daily safety, maintenance or servicing checks to ensure proper functioning of the equipment
- Promote, execute and adhere to the company safety program, and encourage all employees, to adopt safety as a culture
- Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation
- Perform other duties, as when assigned
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 5 years of heavy equipment experience
- Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
- Experience using power tools
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
