At Skin and Aesthetics Center, our Medical Assistants play a key role in delivering high-quality dermatologic and cosmetic care to our patients across our growing network of practice locations. As part of a comprehensive healthcare management services organization, this position combines clinical support with patient-centered service, ensuring a smooth and elevated experience in a fast-paced, high-end medical setting.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about skin health and aesthetics. You'll work closely with our providers to assist during general dermatology and cosmetic procedures, manage clinical flow, and contribute to a supportive, welcoming environment for both patients and team members.
Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Completion of a Medical Assistant training program

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent credential
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in dermatology or aesthetics strongly preferred

Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems

Bilingual (preferred) - ability to communicate with a diverse patient population

Strong interest in skin health, cosmetic treatments, and patient education
Responsibilities:
-
Greet and prepare patients for dermatology exams and cosmetic procedures

Take vital signs, review medical histories, and update patient charts in the EHR system

Assist providers with procedures such as skin checks, biopsies, cryotherapy, suture removal, and aesthetic services (e.g., chemical peels, laser treatments, injectables)

Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection following sterilization and safety protocols

Maintain exam rooms and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for patient care

Support front desk operations as needed, including answering phones and scheduling appointments

Travel between assigned practice locations as needed to provide coverage

Deliver a concierge-level patient experience from start to finish
Travel Requirements:

Reliable transportation required for travel between designated practice locations

Primary Location: Lehighton (x3 days a week)
- Secondary Location: Allentown (x2 days a week )
Key Skills:

Proficient in medical assisting, including phlebotomy, vital signs, and specimen processing
