About the Role
Peach Love California is looking for a Designer to lead our Budget Line — a fast-moving, high-volume program built for off-price and value-driven retail. You'll own the design process end to end, from concept through a complete, production-ready tech pack, working in a compressed, fast-fashion development cycle. This role requires someone who has sold designs directly to buyers at accounts like Burlington, T.J. Maxx, or Nordstrom Rack, and who understands what it takes to win — and re-order — at that level.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop product for the Budget Line, targeting specialty, chain, and off-price retail accounts
- Present and sell concepts directly to buyers at accounts such as Burlington, T.J. Maxx, Nordstrom Rack, and comparable retailers
- Build complete tech packs from scratch, ready to hand off to production
- Manage rapid, compressed development timelines without sacrificing sell-through potential
- Translate trend and market data into budget-friendly designs that hit price-point and margin targets
What You Bring
- 5+ years of design experience serving specialty, chain, and off-price retail accounts
- Direct buyer-facing experience with accounts such as Burlington, T.J. Maxx, Nordstrom Rack, or comparable retailers
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; CLO 3D is a plus
- Proven ability to build complete tech packs from scratch
- Bilingual in Korean is a strong plus
- A true fast-fashion mindset — comfortable with compressed timelines and rapid development cycles
