Duties
- Perform comprehensive inspections, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of bicycles, including tune-ups, brake adjustments, gear calibrations, and tire replacements
- Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical components and ensure optimal bike performance
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, timelines, and maintenance tips to enhance their riding experience
- Maintain detailed service records and update work orders accurately for each bicycle serviced
- Assist in inventory management by tracking parts and tools needed for repairs and ordering supplies as necessary
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all repair procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and fully equipped to handle daily service demands efficiently
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in bicycle repair and maintenance
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to read technical manuals and interpret repair instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to customers
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably
- Prior experience with bicycle electronics or electrical systems is a plus but not mandatory
