Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes or concerns
- Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA confidentiality standards
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and organization of living spaces
- Document care activities, patient observations, and any incidents in detailed reports to ensure continuity of care
Skills
- Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia, Alzheimer's, and memory care practices
- CPR and First Aid certification to respond effectively in emergencies
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs
- Familiarity with medication administration, care plans, and vital signs monitoring
- Strong communication skills for working collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Physical ability for heavy lifting, assisting with transfers, and supporting mobility needs
