Responsibilities
- Assist lead instructors in conducting swimming lessons tailored to various age groups and skill levels
- Support the implementation of lesson plans that incorporate water safety, swimming techniques, and physical activity
- Supervise participants during swim sessions to ensure safety and proper behavior management
- Engage children and students with encouraging communication to motivate progress and build confidence
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool environment by following health club standards
Skills
- Previous lifeguard experience or certification demonstrating water safety knowledge
- Experience in childcare or working with students in recreational or educational settings
- Skills in behavior management to foster positive classroom and poolside environments
- Familiarity with swimming techniques and water safety protocols
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
