Overview
Encore Stone Studio is a thriving business in the natural stone industry seeking a talented CDL Delivery Driver to add to our team. Reporting to the General Manager we are looking for someone who will fit in with us culturally. We are a relaxed environment that works as a team. We are looking for a dependable, reliable, and trustworthy individual. This person must possess a Class B CDL license that is current and valid.
The CDL Delivery Driver is expected to deliver product by properly operating company truck within company’s safety guidelines.
The CDL Delivery Driver duties will include:
- Drive the flatbed truck to transport material between warehouse and local destination location
- Load/unload material for deliveries and transfers with great care to maintain the integrity of the materials
- Accurately document outbound and delivered material
- Inspect outbound material ensuring they are the exact material to be delivered and report any issues to location manager
- Assist Warehouse Manager in the following:
- Maintain and clean and safe warehouse area for employees and customers
- Moving and organizing stock to properly display materials for viewing by customers
- Ensure slabs are cleaned weekly and general cleanliness of warehouse is maintained
- Notify location manager of any equipment and warehouse issues needing maintenance
- Make sure pick tickets and delivery tickets match the material loaded to be delivered
- Ensure to receive written signature for all deliveries
- Other duties as assigned by location manager
A CDL Delivery Driver should demonstrate the following skills:
- Hold a valid Class B CDL driver’s license to be able to transport material using company truck
- Strong forklift operation ability
- Ability to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm & some Saturdays as needed
- Attention to detail
- Solid work ethic
- Focus on safety
***Previous experience handling stone slabs is a plus!***
