We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to a client in their home. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and client's family. The Nursing Assistant will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the client. Client is a pleasant adult Male with cognitive deficits. CNA needed mostly for companionship. mild assistance with ADL's. Part-time 22 hrs per week

Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating .
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient care areas
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Communicate effectively with nurses and other healthcare professionals regarding patient needs
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Participate in training sessions per company policy.
Requirements
- Active CNA License
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods and lifting patients when necessary
- Understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care
