We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant & Client Care Representative who enjoys both client interaction and hands-on patient care.

Client Care & Reception:
- Welcome clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
- Schedule appointments and manage a busy hospital calendar
- Answer phones, emails, and text communications
- Check in patients and maintain accurate medical records
- Process payments and maintain a welcoming front desk
- Prepare referral, surgical, and medical paperwork
- Educate clients on hospital services and preventive care
Patient Care & Veterinary Assisting:
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and treatments
- Safely handle and restrain patients using fear-free techniques
- Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house testing
- Assist with treatments and diagnostic procedures
- Take diagnostic radiographs
- Monitor patients and communicate concerns to doctors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment
- Educate pet owners on treatment plans, medications, and home care
What We're Looking For:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- 1 year of veterinary assistant experience preferred
- Experience handling dogs and cats safely and compassionately
- Proficiency in phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, and radiography is a bonus
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and comfortable with technology
- Experience with Avimark is a plus
- Team player who values collaboration and putting patients, clients, and coworkers first
