Overview
The Radiology Technician operates radiographic equipment for diagnostic imaging in ER and clinical settings. This role focuses on producing high-quality X-rays for fracture, chest, and abdominal evaluations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray equipment to capture diagnostic images
- Prepare and accurately position patients for imaging procedures
- Safely administer contrast agents as required
- Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance
- Document procedures using EHR systems (Epic, PACS)
- Follow all radiation safety protocols and guidelines
Required Skillset
- Experience in radiologic technology and diagnostic imaging
- Knowledge of EHR systems (Epic, PACS preferred)
- Strong patient care and communication skills
Important Details / Requirements
- 36 hours per week (day shifts)
- 13-week contract assignment
- Must follow strict radiation safety standards
- Experience in ER or clinical imaging settings preferred
