Role Description
This is a contract role for a experienced Safety Specialist. The Specialist will be responsible for implementing workplace health and safety programs, identifying and mitigating risks, and conducting safety training sessions. This role requires evaluating current safety policies, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing guidance to management and staff. The Specialist will also contribute to maintaining good work practices and overseeing EHS regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices
- Experience in Workplace Safety strategies and hazard identification
- Ability to design, deliver, and manage Safety Training programs
- Knowledge of applicable regulations, including OSHA and other relevant safety protocols
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Prior experience in a similar role within the manufacturing, industrial, or construction industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field preferred
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
