Overview:
The ERP Reporting & Analytics Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing reporting and analytics solutions within the Workday ecosystem, with a primary focus on Human Resources data and business processes. This role partners closely with HR leaders, operational stakeholders, and business teams to enhance the user experience through intuitive reporting, dashboards, and analytics tools that transform complex data into meaningful insights.
The analyst will leverage Workday reporting and analytics capabilities, including custom reports, dashboards, discovery boards, and Prism Analytics, to deliver innovative solutions that support strategic decision-making and improve operational effectiveness. This role is responsible for analyzing reporting needs, identifying trends and opportunities, maintaining data integrity, and recommending solutions that maximize the value of organizational data.
The ERP Reporting & Analytics Analyst works both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams to support reporting requests, develop scalable analytics solutions, and ensure adoption of best practices. Responsibilities include report development, dashboard design, requirements gathering, user training, documentation, and ongoing optimization of reporting capabilities.
The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with strong analytical skills who is passionate about data visualization, user experience, and continuous improvement. This role plays a key part in advancing data-driven decision-making by empowering stakeholders with actionable insights and innovative reporting solutions.
Bachelor's Degree (Required)
No specific certification or licensure requirements
Preferred:

Workday Reporting, Prism Analytics, or related Workday certifications

2-5 years of experience developing reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions within the Workday ecosystem.

Experience utilizing Workday reporting tools, including Custom Reports, Dashboards, Discovery Boards, Prism Analytics, and other reporting and analytics capabilities.

Proven experience collaborating with Human Resources and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions that improve operational effectiveness.

Strong knowledge of data visualization, reporting best practices, and user experience principles to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Experience identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities through data analysis and providing recommendations that support business objectives.

Experience creating documentation, training materials, and end-user education to drive adoption of reporting tools and self-service analytics.

Understanding of data governance, data integrity standards, and best practices for maintaining accurate and reliable reporting.
