Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Thursday through Saturday Overnight Qualified Medication Aide Professional (QMAP). - Safely administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
- Monitor residents’ vital signs, physical conditions, and overall health status during overnight shifts.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as mobility, hygiene, and feeding, including specialized care like tube feeding and catheter care.
- Maintain accurate medical records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Observe and report any changes in residents’ conditions promptly to nursing staff or healthcare providers.
- Support residents with memory care needs by implementing personalized care plans for Alzheimer’s and dementia patients.
- Ensure a safe environment by following infection control procedures and safety protocols specific to hospice, acute care, and home & community care settings. Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medication administration techniques.
- Experience with medical documentation systems such as EMR/EHR platforms like Epic or Cerner is advantageous.
- Familiarity with caring for individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities is a plus.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards related to medical records and patient information.
- Previous caregiving experience involving dementia or Alzheimer’s care enhances your ability to provide empathetic support during overnight hours.
