Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor poultry processing machinery on the production line to ensure smooth workflow
- Perform meat cutting and packaging tasks with precision, adhering to safety and quality standards
- Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning workstations and equipment regularly in compliance with HACCP guidelines
- Follow OSHA safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members
- Assist in quality control checks, inspecting products for consistency and safety before packaging
- Support the implementation of food safety procedures throughout the production process
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing, food processing, or meat cutting is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, HACCP standards, and sanitation practices in a food processing plant
- Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of food industry equipment are advantageous
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with food safety procedures are highly desirable
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high sanitation standards
- Willingness to learn about food safety regulations and adhere strictly to all safety protocols
