Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Team Captain to lead and coordinate manufacturing operations within a fast-paced production environment. Duties
- Lead and supervise assembly line teams to meet production targets efficiently and safely
- Coordinate daily manufacturing activities, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal resource utilization
- Enforce safety protocols in accordance with industry standards and company policies, promoting a safe working environment
- Operate and oversee equipment such as forklifts, power tools, and hand tools to facilitate assembly tasks
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to guide mechanical assembly processes accurately
- Conduct manual handling and heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to ergonomic practices
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on factory procedures, safety standards, and equipment use
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing or factory settings, with a strong understanding of assembly line operations
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and use hand tools effectively
- Experience operating forklifts and power tools; forklift certification is highly preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures, manual handling, and heavy lifting techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments to ensure compliance at all times
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and management effectively
