Key Responsibilities:
- Cable Installation: install Cable in a data center environment
- Cabling Infrastructure: Work with cable vendors to install, inspect, and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling, including patch panels and patch cords.
- Server & Network Equipment Setup: Oversee daily installations of servers and network devices, structured cabling, and capacity management.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all data center installations align with established installation practices and standards.
- Status Reporting: Maintain communication on project and task status through, status reports, email, and Slack.
- Documentation: Accurately document issues, processes, and changes to maintain clear and organized data center records.
Qualifications:
- Cable installation experience preferred, but not required
- Great team player
- Strong work ethic
- Enthusiasm for learning
Physical Demands:
- Work at heights and on ladders safely.
- Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds; group lifts required for heavier items.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
