About the Role
As a valued member of our primary care team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients while promoting wellness, prevention, and long-term health. Responsibilities include:
- Provide comprehensive primary and preventive care
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic health conditions
- Perform routine physical exams, wellness visits, and health screenings
- Order and interpret laboratory studies, imaging, and other diagnostic tests
- Develop individualized treatment and care plans
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and other common primary care conditions
- Educate patients on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, medications, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care
- Build lasting relationships with patients through continuity of care
Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in New Mexico, or eligibility for New Mexico licensure
- Primary Care, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
