We are looking for a responsible, trustworthy part-time employee to add to our team at a growing pet sitting/dog walking business. We are hiring for SW Portland/Central and SW Beaverton/Tigard, primarily. Hours are part time (about 15-20hrs/week, starting around 10-15hrs then working up from there) typically some time between 9am-3pm with occasional morning/evening/weekend hours. We start new hires at $17 plus tips (tips add ~$2-3/hr) All of our clients are located in Beaverton/close in Hillsboro/SW Portland/Tigard.

Job Requirements:
- You must have a working smartphone
- GED or higher (this is not a temp/summer job)
- Have a valid driver's license
- Have reliable transportation
- Pass a background check
- Live within a reasonable distance of the service area
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with and compassion for animals
- Comfortable around all types of animals
- Have excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
Preferred skills:
- Experience in the pet sitting industry
- Comfortable around all kinds of dogs/cats and the array of personalities that go with them
- 1-2 yrs in customer service experience
Responsibilities and duties:
- Provide professional, compassionate care for pets
- Practice time management and keep to the schedule you are provided
- Safely travel around town to the homes of clients to provide care for pets (we do not board, we go to clients' homes)
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal — with the office and clients
- Professionally represent the company and treat clients respectfully
- Use your smartphone to track services and send updates to clients in a timely manner
