Our Current Available Shifts are Evening Shifts being (Sunday 2-10, Monday 3pm-11pm, Wednesday and Thursday 2-10pm) We are also looking for overnight 11pm-7am Wednesday-Saturday)
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Monitor patients’ health by observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare teams
- Support medication administration following proper protocols and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking
- Maintain clean and safe living environments through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of personal spaces
- Implement individualized care plans designed by healthcare professionals to meet each person’s unique needs
- Provide emotional support and companionship to foster social interaction and reduce feelings of isolation
Skills
- Proven experience in group home settings, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments
- Knowledge of patient care techniques including assisting with ADLs, patient monitoring, and elderly care.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts when necessary
- Strong observational skills for patient safety, including patient observation and monitoring for changes in condition or behavior
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is preferred
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members, residents’ families, and healthcare providers
Qualifications:
- First Aid (Preferred)
- CPR (Preferred)
- Fingerprint clearance card (Preferred)
- Article 9 training (Preferred)
