AIS Construction Equipment is the oldest Michigan owned and operated heavy equipment company in the state and has been serving customers for 60 years. We are looking for a full-time Parts Sales Associate to join our Traverse City team. If you are a motivated go-getter and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment, we would love to talk to you!
Responsibilities:
- Locate and source parts from internal and external sources using a variety of resources
- Place parts orders for customers and AIS service technicians
- Research and answer questions regarding parts for internal and external parties
- Read and analyze machine diagrams to provide solutions
- Diligently follow up with customers and employees on inquiries and orders
- Process incoming shipments for customers, technicians and stock purposes
- Help keep showroom, parts stocking areas, customer hold areas and shipping areas clean organized and stocked
- Follow established parts guidelines including Freight Recovery, MD on Hand, and Returns
Qualifications/Skills:
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Punctual, reliable, and a strong sense of urgency
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly
- Able to pass a background screening and drug test
- Preferred: Experience in customer service and/or knowledge of heavy equipment or automotive

Compensation: $45k - $65k base PLUS commission
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
