Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lessons for children in a daycare setting
- Provide physical education opportunities for children to promote their physical development and well-being
- Offer academic support to children, including helping them with multiple learning concepts
- Ensure the safety and welfare of all children under your care
- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages learning and growth
-Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment while teaching these basic concepts to growing minds
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; certificate, associate's, or bachelor's degree in early childhood education is preferred
- Two years full time experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment for children
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain any necessary certifications or clearances required by state regulations
