The Director of Clinical Quality and Outcomes supports franchisee-owned BrightStar Care agencies to advance clinical quality initiatives including Joint Commission accreditation, training, compliance, quality improvement, clinical programs, and brand growth. They work with BrightStar’s directors of nursing, franchisees and franchise support center colleagues to ensure BrightStar Care agencies provide care at a higher standard. This role will report to the SVP, Clinical Operations.
Education:

BSN required, MSN/MPH or MBA preferred
Experience:
-
Active unencumbered RN license in at least one state with 5-10 years recent clinical and management/supervisory and training experience;

7+ years of progressive clinical experience, including leadership, quality, education, or compliance responsibility.

Skilled nursing experience in acute, post-acute, home health, or private duty care.

Experience with quality improvement, accreditation, regulatory compliance, or clinical program development.

The ability to influence, teach, analyze data, and turn complex requirements into clear action.
Preferred: Private duty home care, Medicare-certified home health, Joint Commission, multi-site or franchise experience, EHR systems, CPHQ certification, or an advanced degree.
Salary Range: $130,000–$150,000 annually
The salary range listed reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and other job-related considerations.
Base salary is one component of our overall compensation package, which may also include performance-based incentives, benefits, paid time off, and other offerings depending on the position and eligibility.
