D&D Mechanical, Inc. is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead and manage our safety programs across structural steel, mechanical, piping, and industrial construction operations. What You'll Do
As Safety Manager, you will provide leadership and oversight for all aspects of the company's safety, health, and environmental programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and continuously improve company-wide safety programs and initiatives.
- Conduct routine and unannounced jobsite safety inspections.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, client requirements, and internal policies.
- Manage incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs and new hire orientations.
- Support project managers, superintendents, and field teams through coaching and mentoring.
- Monitor subcontractor safety compliance.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and regulatory records.
- Coordinate OSHA inspections, client audits, and regulatory reviews.
- Oversee safety equipment programs, including PPE, fall protection, gas monitoring equipment, and confined space resources.
- Develop emergency response plans and conduct preparedness drills.
- Serve as the primary safety liaison with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Promote a culture where every employee takes ownership of workplace safety.
Experience We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive safety experience in industrial, structural steel, mechanical, or heavy construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
- Experience with high-risk construction activities, including:
- Structural steel erection
- Rigging and crane operations
- Fall protection
- Lockout/Tagout
- Confined space entry
- Hot work
- Excavation and trenching
- Heavy equipment operations
- Strong leadership, training, and communication skills.
- Ability to identify workplace hazards and take immediate corrective action.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Construction Management, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Safety, or related field.
- Safety leadership or management experience.
- OSHA 500 Trainer certification. (REQUIRED)
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) designation.
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
