Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all facility areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using commercial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubber
- Handle chemical agents safely while applying sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards
- Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and moving supplies or equipment following safe lifting practice
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure all cleaning tools are properly maintained and stored according to safety protocols
- Follow safety procedures diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or chemical mishandling
- Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including trash removal and deep cleaning
Requirements
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience
- 3rd shift experience
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling safety procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours on the third shift with minimal supervision
