Position Title
Clinical Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to join our hair restoration and transplant center. The NP will play a key role in patient consultations, pre- and post-operative care, medical evaluations, treatment planning, and supporting surgical hair transplant procedures. The ideal candidate has strong clinical judgment, excellent bedside manner, and experience in aesthetics, dermatology, cosmetic surgery, or surgical care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and medical histories for hair restoration candidates
- Perform scalp and hair loss evaluations and assist in developing individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients regarding surgical and non-surgical hair restoration options, expectations, risks, and aftercare
- Assist physicians during hair transplant procedures including FUE/FUT treatments as needed
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care, including follow-up appointments and recovery monitoring
- Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice and state regulations
- Monitor patient outcomes and maintain accurate medical documentation in EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians, surgical technicians, and administrative staff to ensure exceptional patient experience
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and clinic safety protocols
- Participate in patient education initiatives and support clinic growth through excellent customer care
Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the applicable state
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Board certification as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology NP (AGNP), or related specialty
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred
- Experience in dermatology, cosmetic surgery, plastic surgery, aesthetics, or hair restoration strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient counseling skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical and cosmetic environment
- BLS/ACLS certification preferred
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with PRP therapy, scalp treatments, and regenerative medicine
- Experience with cosmetic consultations and elective procedures
- Knowledge of hair loss disorders and treatment modalities
- Comfortable assisting with minor surgical procedures
Work Environment
- Outpatient cosmetic and surgical setting
- Combination of clinical consultations, procedure support, and patient follow-up care
