About the Position:
We are expanding and currently looking for a skilled CNC Field Service Engineer based in the Salt Lake City, UT area. We provide our Field Service Engineers with great pay and benefits, company van, credit card, cell phone, work boot allowance, along with continuing education, relocation assistance, company brand apparel, and more!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of CNC machinery, accessories, and automation equipment
- Repair of products at customer locations throughout a region or extended territory
- Assembly / modification of standard products on-site
- Troubleshoot with end-users and dealers remotely via telephone and email
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring stock of repair/installation of parts
- Related duties as required
Skills and Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls a must
- Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical systems on CNC machinery
- A good understanding of PMC and PLC ladder logic
- Must be willing to accommodate frequent travel
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school education or greater
- Technical degree a plus
- 3+ years of related experience
