Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Residential Make-Ready and Maintenance Contractor to join our team. This role is vital in preparing residential units for new tenants and ensuring ongoing property maintenance. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service to every project. Responsibilities:
- Apartment make-readies and turnovers
- Interior and exterior painting
- Basic carpentry repairs
- Drywall repair and finishing
- General maintenance and handyman services
- Minor plumbing repairs and fixture replacement
- Minor electrical repairs and fixture installation (where legally permitted)
- Property improvement projects
- Troubleshooting maintenance issues and recommending solutions
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Experience in apartment maintenance is helpful but not required, residential construction, remodeling, or related trades
- Ability to work independently and manage projects efficiently
- Knowledge of carpentry, painting, drywall, plumbing, and basic electrical work
- Reliable transportation and own tools required
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to communicate professionally with property management staff and residents
