Job Summary
We are actively looking to hire the following Front of House positions;
Host/Hostess
Busser
Food runner/ Expo
Duties for Host position
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Resy or previous experience with OpenTable
- Escort guests to their tables, provide menus, and answer initial questions about the menu or restaurant offerings.
- Manage guest seating flow, ensuring timely seating and minimizing wait times through organized coordination.
- Handle guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information and taking reservations or feedback.
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand, ensuring all materials are stocked and ready for service.
- Support food service staff by coordinating table assignments and assisting with guest needs to enhance overall guest relations.
Skills for Host position
- Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles within upscale restaurant settings is recommended but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude that fosters guest satisfaction.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, team members, and management.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Resy or OpenTable
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow seamlessly.
Expectations for support staff
- Prior experience for expo or food runner is recommended but not required
- Being able to work quickly and effectively in high volume, fast paced environment
- Supporting service team and hosts
- Friendly, positive attitude
