Job Overview
Seeking reliable unarmed security guards as a standard w2 Employee with taxes withdrawn via Payroll and direct pay provided weekly, for an ongoing assignment involving television and film production. While maintaining a secure environment for employees, crew, and property you’ll be tasked with monitoring premises, providing access control, and acting as a visible presence that deters potential threats.
Responsibilities
Observe and report
ID check for gate / entry access control
Lot / parking surveillance / position cones for parking
Watching equipment, generators, restrooms, trailers, etc.
Provide site presence as a deterrence
Random foot patrols
Firewatch
Ability to contact emergency services and/or other guards, if necessary
Location and Shifts
Shifts are usually 12 hours. Occasional overtime may be offered.
Shift dates, hours, and duration can vary weekly depending on filming / production needs.
The client may have unique locations (30 to 60 minutes from Nashville) every few weeks as their needs change to meet the demands of live-action filming. Individual site locations may require being outside for some duration or an entire shift.
Skills
2+ Years of Unarmed / Armed Security related field work
CPR / First Aid / AED Certification
Knowledge of Use of Force and De-escalation Techniques
Physical, Personnel, and Surveillance Security proficiency.
Strong observation, customer service, communication, interpersonal, and de-escalation skills.
Aptitude to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
Ability to be outside (in a various weather conditions) for extended periods of time.
Proper and timely communication regarding shifts, staffing, and any such possible call-out.
Dress Code
Black khakis, with a black polo Security shirt (to be provided), and black shoes
