Happy Leaf Dispensary is seeking knowledgeable and customer-oriented Budtenders to join our dispensary team. Budtenders play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to customers while using your knowledgeable expertise to assist them in selecting the right cannabis products, educate them on cannabis strains, different consumption methods, and industry trends to ensure a positive experience. We are looking for individuals to be a part of our team who are self-motivated with an upbeat, positive attitude, who can work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role requires working flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
Primary Responsibilities
Ensure all guests are greeted and welcomed upon entry and provided a friendly and professional atmosphere.
Demonstrate high level product knowledge while remaining translatable to seasoned cannabis veterans and brand-new customers alike.
Provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding product availability,
promotions and potential effects.
Assist customers in selecting the right cannabis products, educating them on cannabis strains, consumption methods, and industry trends to ensure a positive experience.
Consistently deliver the ultimate customer experience in all facets and ensure each customer receives full attention during their transaction.
Processes customer orders and payments utilizing POS software (dutchie).
Maintain proper cash handling procedures.
Assist with completing side work, staging, stocking, cleaning and any
additional duties assigned by management.
Adhere to all company SOP’s & CRC guidelines.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Strong knowledge and passion of cannabis strains, consumption methods and other products currently on the market.
Experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in the cannabis industry or related industry.
Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills.
Organizational Skills and Attention to Detail
Multi-task Oriented
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Dispensary sales experience preferred
Open/flexible Availability
Customer Service: 2 years
Retail Sales: 2 years
