Position Summary: As a member of the management team the Case Manager Supervisor provides direction and consultation to clinical staff to ensure services and supports are in place to meet the behavioral health needs of clients.
Provides direct care to client population as needed.
Critical Tasks:
- Be able to complete all critical tasks of subordinate roles.
- Provides clinical oversight, guidance and support to assigned staff, using a strength-based approach.
- Ensures adherence to board standards, agencies standards, policies and procedures.
- Ensure staff are oriented to the GRIC community and stakeholders.
- Provides on-going training to ensure staff are trained in skills necessary to perform their job duties.
- Responds to crisis situations with leadership and direction, ensuring quality client care and collaboration of services.
- Provides on-going training and supervision to ensure documentation is in compliance with State regulations.
- Recruits and selects new Case Managers and/or Clinical Liaisons in conjunction with the Clinical Manager.
- Conducts staff development plans, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations to assigned staff members.
- Promotes quality client care by receiving and responding to client and community concerns.
- Provides on-going clinical supervision and consultation.
- Performs case management functions of advocacy and care coordination, as needed.
- Promotes and adheres to GRHC Code of Conduct and Ethics.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other closely related field of study.
- Associate Licensure in good standing with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners required (LAC, LAAC, LMSW, LAMFT), Independent Licensure preferred (LPC, LIAC, LCSW, LMFT).
- Five years previous experience in case management preferred.
- Experience with the Native American population preferred.
- Arizona Department of Public Safety Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
- Current and continuing CPR/FA and/or BLS training and certification required.
- State of Arizona driver’s license with no significant violations during the last 5 years.
- Demonstrates ability to relate to diverse cultures and specifically the Gila River Community and/or other Native American cultures and community health services.
