Responsibilities
- Restock bar supplies, glassware, and utensils swiftly to keep the bar fully prepared for service
- Assist bartenders by retrieving ingredients, garnishes, and beverages efficiently during busy hours
- Deliver food orders promptly from the kitchen to tables or designated areas with care and accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness in the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, clearing empty glasses, and organizing supplies
- Support servers by bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly to ensure readiness for new guests
- Ensure all food handling and safety standards are followed diligently to uphold hygiene protocols
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, servers, and management to coordinate service smoothly
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with knowledge of food handling practices
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and efficiency
- Previous banquet or hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in fast-paced settings
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities to engage positively with guests and team members
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking basics, and food safety standards to support kitchen operations
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a friendly attitude under pressure
- Experience in bussing tables, food running, or kitchen support roles within hotel or restaurant settings is highly desirable
