Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and personable Temporary Dental Hygienist to join our team for the next few months. This role is ideal for a clinician looking for temporary work or a flexible schedule. You will provide preventive dental care, educate patients on oral health, and maintain our high standard of patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings and periodontal therapy.
- Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos.
- Assess patient oral health risks.
- Educate patients on proper home care.
- Document findings in electronic charts accurately.
- Sterilize instruments and prep treatment rooms.
Requirements
- Valid Washington State Dental Hygienist license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and patient comfort.
- Experience with Dentrix/Dexis preferred, but not required
