Downers Grove Dentistry & Orthodontics is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our friendly and supportive practice. We are committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a welcoming environment and are looking for a hygienist who shares our passion for patient education and preventive dentistry.
Schedule
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- One Saturday per Month: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental prophylaxis (dental cleanings)
- Provide scaling and root planing (SRP) treatment
- Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Partner with doctors and team members to deliver an outstanding patient experience
Qualifications
- Current Illinois Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) License
- Experience performing prophylaxis, SRP, and dental radiographs
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Friendly, professional, and team-oriented mindset
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
